Die Quietly
Wendy Manzo’s books are available through Amazon in paperback, Kindle eBook, and hardcover versions.
Die Quietly is a psychological thriller that follows women fighting to survive deadly betrayals and uncover buried secrets, confronting trauma and reclaiming their identities in a world where beauty and brutality intertwine.
Some disappearances change everything.
Others reveal what was always there.
When police officers arrive at Lilibet Keller’s door in the early hours of the morning, her world shatters. A harrowing avalanche in Colorado’s Elk Mountains claims the lives of an entire group of skiers, except one—Karl Keller. Her husband vanishes without a trace, missing, presumed dead.
Nothing prepares Lilibet for the weight of not knowing.
As days pass, the life she knew unravels. Secrets surface.
Is the avalanche the real catastrophe in Lilibet’s life?
Lies, deceptions, and questions multiply, gradually unveiling the dark undercurrents beneath their ordinary family life. Lilibet discovers that sometimes the most dangerous person is the one you’re supposed to trust the most.
Some nightmares stay with you in every waking moment.
Die Quietly is a psychological thriller that weaves the intensity of trauma, survival, and the quest for truth with the profound emotional struggle to reclaim one’s identity amidst chaos.

About the Author
Hello, I’m Wendy, writing fiction as W.K. Manzo, and creative nonfiction and curating anthologies, as Wendy Manzo. I live in Sydney, Australia, with my husband, Andrew H Smith, and we have three adult children living on three different continents.
My identity is embodied in three career paths simultaneously: Artist, Writer, and Jewellery designer. I spent 30 years as owner and master designer of Wendy Manzo Diamonds. I pioneered live worship painting, leading the artists at DaySpring Church for 10 years, and ran the Creative Hearts Art Gallery on the Gold Coast for 5 years. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Prophetic Art and writing a women’s literary series.
I believe that women’s voices, so long unheard, are coming to the fore. I believe hope and empathy are essential parts of who we are. I believe we need to embrace the fact that we’re all imperfect people, always learning, and that life is full of ‘giving it a go’, failing, getting messy, and dreaming bigger.
It doesn’t matter what style of dysfunctional family we come from; they all remarkably shape who we are. I have lived in distant places, such as the Gold Coast, Bali, and New York, and have made extended visits to Paris, Venice, and Zagreb. I try to evoke this exotic foreignness in my writing.
As well as website blogs, I’ve authored five non-fiction books, ‘Lifeboats’ (2026 release), ‘The Prophetic Artist: Raising an Army of Artists’, ’40 Days hath November: Personal Prophetic Paintings’, ‘Fragile as Sea Foam’, ‘How to Paint With God: Increase your Prophetic Art Skills’; co-authored and illustrated ‘Brush Tales; Silent Stories’; co-authored ’88 Days: Road to Recovery from Trauma’; and curated and edited ‘The Voice in the Paint: The Blood Speaks’.
Everything is symbolic; keep interpreting!
