“Receptor” is an expressionist painting by Wendy Manzo representing the First Messengers, the living cell membrane ‘receptors’, that open and close to receive or reject life-giving nutrients and medications. Years of research into cancer treatments focus on this – the most rugged border of all – looking for the ‘key’ to give access to cancer receptor cells. I declare this border open!
