I painted this one as a memorial for a friend who’d lost his brother. The sea of forget-me-not’s represents the myriad of a lifetime of memories together. The depth of the water underneath represents his brother’s love of the ocean. The five seedlings represent grace, and new beginnings. There are 15 open flowers, the number 15 represents rest.
