Painted for Creative Hearts Art gallery exhibition, “Where Love Lies”, 2021.
Looking for where love lies in Cezanne’s post-impressionist work, I used a pallet knife to mimic his thick brushstrokes in ‘Mont Saintee-Victoire 1904’. Love lived in the sharp light in the place he called home in France. He painted his beloved Mont Saintee-Victoire over 30 times.
